Taj and Taane Bioprproject

This project leverages Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) to conduct a comparative genomic analysis of Klebsiella pneumoniae strains in Pakistan. By exploring the genetic diversity of virulence factors, antibiotic resistance genes, and plasmids genes etc, the study aims to enhance our understanding of this pathogen's evolution and spread. The findings will inform improved diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive strategies against K. pneumoniae infections, addressing a critical public health challenge in the region.
