This work presents a domain ontology based on the Process and Observation Ontology PO2 (http://agroportal.lirmm.fr/ontologies/PO2), dedicated to the representation of biorefinery applications.
The objective was to establish a common vocabulary to describe different biorefinery projects aiming to produce bio-composite packaging: Chercheur d’avenir region Languedoc-Roussillon MALICE, H2020 NoAW, FP7 EcoBioCAP and H2020 Resurbis.
The domain ontology's classes are separated in different main aspects: measured attributes (measured characteristics or process controlled parameters), components, material, observations and steps.
