Phase stability, electronic and magnetic properties of FeO under Earth's core conditions

DOI

The aimed experiment focuses on exploring the phase stability, electronic and magnetic properties of Fe1-xO utilizing the Synchrotron Mössbauer Source spectroscopy and Single-Crystal X-ray diffraction up to 300 GPa and 6000 K to understand better the effect of iron oxides on the super Earth’s mantle.
