Growth metrics of coral skleton from Surprise Island in New Caledonia (1998-2019)

This dataset presents measurements of coral growth parameters, including linear extension and skeletal density. form coral cores collected on the reef flat and atoll rim of Surprise Island in the D'entrecasteaux Reefs, the IGUANE cruise (2019; doi:10.17600/18000897). The corals on the reef flat grew in proximity to a seabird breading site and are exposed to seabird-derived nutrients.
