This data contains oxygen and carbon isotope measurments on the benthic foraminiferal species Siphonodosaria lepidula of ODP Site 202-1242. Isotopic measurements were carried out on 2 and 3 individuals of Siphonodosaria lepidula from the >400 µm fraction. Samples were measured using a GasBench II coupled to a Delta V mass spectrometer as described in Breitenbach and Bernasconi (2011). Foraminifera were placed in vials and reacted with 104% phosphoric acid at 70ºC. The instrument was calibrated with the internal standards MS2 (δ13C = +2.13 ‰, δ18O = -1.81 ‰) and ETH-4 (δ13C = -10.19 ‰, δ18O = -18.71 ‰) which are calibrated to the international reference materials NBS 19 (δ13C = +1.95‰, δ18O = -2.2‰) and NBS 18 (δ13C = -5.01‰, δ18O = -23.00‰; Bernasconi et al., 2018). Values are reported in the conventional delta notation with respect to VPDB. Long term reproducibility is better than 0.1‰ for both carbon and oxygen isotopes. Measures were carried out in the Geological Institute, ETH Zürich, Switzerland.
