In this study, we analyzed the diversity and composition of fungal communities collected from leaves of pedunculate oak (Quercus robur) and needles of maritime pine (Pinus pinaster) in 48 experimental forest plots. These plots were part of the ORPHEE experimental site (44.73742 N, 0,77504 E Cestas, France) and were planted in monocultures or in mixtures of 2 to 5 tree species. Following fungal ITS1 amplification with ITS1F-ITS2 primers, 3/16th runs of single-end 454 sequencing were performed (Roche GS junior). The metabarcoding data we obtained were analyzed using QIIME. Raw and filtered ASV Tables are available here. Sample ID corresponds to species_block_plot (https://treedivnet.ugent.be/ExpORPHEE.html)
