Datooga (DALGOM 2019d)

This data set contains the audio files of interviews conducted in Swahili for the elicitation of Datooga (Southern Nilotic) lexical and grammatical structures. The Datooga variety documented is Bureadiga. All data have been collected in the village of Chagana near Lugubu/Rugubu, Igunga (Tanzania), in April 2019 as part of the DFG project “Datooga lexico-grammar of motion in a dialectological and historical perspective (DALGOM)” (KI 529/12-1).
