This entry includes the first part of the e-book "Marš na Soči" (March on the Soča river) by author Jože Štucin (COBISS.SI-ID 270128899, ISBN 978-961-7272-35-2).
The dominant realization and at the same time feeling that emerges from most of Štucin's poems in his new literary work, the poetry collection Marš na Soči, is existential distress. The poet is caught in the provisions of the cosmos, he is overcome by the feeling that his earthly time is running out, he is taken over by solitude, he is increasingly immersed in silence, although he has been a man of sounds all his life, closely connected to music and an admirer of tones of different pitches. He repeatedly questions the meaning and significance of the poetic word, he tries to place himself outside of poetic creation, but this is by no means possible, since poetry is equated with his life.
