Flexible functional materials are important candidates of current research, because of their potential applications in plastic electronics. Organic ferroelectrics and multi-ferroics are of such kind of materials having applications in data and storage devices. Since flexibility, ferroelectricity and magnetism are rare combinations, organic multi-ferroics are candidates of intense research promising of designing new multi-ferroics. Dynamics of hydrogens have important contributions in the performance of these organic multi-ferroics. To build on our previous knowledge on hydrogen bonded organic ferroelectrics, in this proposal we will investigate dynamics of organic multiferroics TTF-BA [(H2C2S2C)2 - C6Br4O2] using QENS techniques and correlate the proton dynamics and multi-ferroic properties by searching for finger print motions.
