The presentation was given in the Webinar: The Barcelona Declaration - Why Open Research Information Matters, organised by Cluster Forschung+Daten on March 3rd 2026. 

The presentation describes the way of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam towards open research information. By stopping to use proprietary data ressources and heading towards alternative and open solutions for research evaluation, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam is fulfilling the goals of the Barcelona Declaration.
