Transcriptomic profiling of smallRNA from Penaeus vannamei upon Vibrio parahaemolyticus AHPND infection

To understand the interaction between shrimp miRNAs and the target genes that affect their health upon VPAHPND infection, it is necessary to identify the set of VPAHPND-responsive miRNAs that participate as key regulators. In the present study, VPAHPND-responsive miRNAs of Penaeus vannamei hemocytes were discovered using small RNA sequencing (sRNA-Seq).
