This dataset contains all the material needed to reproduce the results presented in the following article:
Gautier Nguyen, Guillerme Bernoux, and Antoine Ferlin. “Simultaneous multi-class detection of interplanetary space weather events " Accepted for publication in the Journal of Space Weather and Space climate, 2025.
This work being dedicated to the development of a multi-class Interplanetary Coronal Mass Ejections (ICMEs) and Stream Interaction Regions (SIRs) algorithm. Result include results obtained by both our model, namely SPODIfY, and state of the art model, namely ResUnet++.
In particular, this repository includes:
The outputs of both SPODIFY and ResUnet++ models in the form of .npy files ;
The ICMEs and SIRs catalogs obtained from those outputs in the form of CSV tables
A set of preprocessed streaming, Interplanetary Magnetic Field and solar wind plasma moments in-situ measurements resampled at a resolution of 10 minutes in the form of a pickle file
A Python file that contains routines to manage events
Routines used to obtain the different figures presented in the publication associated to this dataset in the form of a Jupyter Notebook
The research leading to these results was done within the frame of the ONERA FIRSTS internal research project
