This dataset contains anonymized attendance and grade data used in the article “Quantification and error analysis of student absenteeism in an online course”. The data come from an online course in Algebra and Multivariable Calculus taught during the COVID-19 period at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Attendance was quantified from synchronous online class reports and converted into continuous attendance indices. The dataset also includes the variables needed to reproduce the descriptive statistics, error analysis, attendance evolution, histograms, and correlation analysis reported in the article.

All student identifiers have been removed or anonymized. The dataset is intended to allow reproducibility of the numerical results and figures presented in the article.
