According to the experience obtained by the research team proposing this experiment in the framework of the PANAREA project, aiming to the development of new instrument for neutron imaging on TS2 (IMAT), the level and cause of radiation damage by neutrons and gamma radiation generated by spallation sources is still far from being fully explained.A clear comprehension of this phenomenon is of importance for what concerns the massive use of imaging CCD camera devices on the new beam-lines of ISIS-TS2 both for proper imaging applications and for sample alignment. To this aim we propose to perform radiation damage test by irradiating low cost cameras with neutrons having a specific energy range (namely epithermal or thermal neutrons) and gamma rays only. We will perform radiation damage tests also on low flux portable gamma and neutron sources to check the difference in terms of flu
