Whole transcriptome analysis of gill tissue in gold pompanos infected with Amyloodinium ocellatum

Ectoparasitic dinoflagellate Amyloodinium ocellatum (AO) is one of the most pathogenic protozoan parasites, causing amyloodiniosis in gold pompanos. This study aims to explore the host immune response of gold pompanos against AO by revealing the the molecular changes of coding and noncoding RNAs in infected gills.
