This dataset compiles data collected from a drought-prone N-limited Mediterranean oak forest in Prades (Catalonia), where a nitrogen addition experiment (20 kg N/ha·yr) was conducted to assess the effects of nitrogen on resprouting, growth, survival, leaf water potential, photosynthetic potential, and leaf isotopic composition as well as carbon and nitrogen content in both Quercus ilex and Phillyrea latifolia from 2014 to 2023.
