Draft genomes of female and male turbot (Scophthalmus maximus)

Turbot (Scophthalmus maximus) is a commercially important species and is among the most produced flatfish in aquaculture. The draft turbot genomes will provide a valuable resource for isolating the sex determination genes, better understanding the development of flatfish, and improving the molecular breeding techniques for turbot.
