Ice Nucleating Particle (INP) concentrations during COAST-k (17-04-2026)

DOI

The Ice Nucleating Particle (INP) concentrations have been measured on board RV Investigator during the Clean Ocean Air Sampling upwind of Tasmania–Kennaook (COAST-k) campaign from April 29th 2025 to May 18th 2025. The INP concentrations were measured using the Portable Ice Nucleation Experiment (PINE) and the Ice Nucleation Spectrometer of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (INSEKT).

The PINE data was analyzed and quality controlled using the PINE INP Analysis (PIA) software v3.1.0 (https://codebase.helmholtz.cloud/pine/pia_software). The INSEKT data was analyzed and quality controlled using py_raw_insekt v1.1.0 (https://codebase.helmholtz.cloud/insekt/py_raw_insekt).
