(Figure 13) Distribution of middle Miocene through middle Pleistocene planktonic foraminifera in ODP Hole 132-810C

DOI

Sediment depth is given in mbsf. Species abundance planktonic foraminifera: VR = very rare (1-5 specimens); R = rare (5-10 specimens); C = common (10-30 specimens); A = abundant (>50% of the total fauna); VA = very abundant (dominant). Residues, abundance of other components, reworked and/or contaminant specimens as well as planktonic foraminifer preservation were graded with the following scales, respectively: VS = very scarce; S = scarce; M = medium abundant; A = abundant; X = simple presence. VP = very poor preservation; P = poor preservation; M = medium preservation; G = good preservation.
