3 treatment tanks -water temperature in the treatment tanks was raised 1°C per day from 26°C to 33°C 1 control tank - water temperature 26°C. 40 replicate coral mucus (treatment, n= 15 control, n= 5) and tissue (treatment, n= 15 control, n= 5) samples. 20 seawater samples were collected during the experiment. Ten seawater samples – five pooled samples from the treatment tanks, five samples from the control tanks – were sent for pyrosequencing.
