Sand microbiome from the Mississippi Gulf Coast collected 01/14/24-06/28/24 - Part 1

Sand samples were collected from 5 beaches along a 39 km stretch of the Mississippi coast, USA, at monthly, weekly, and daily timescales from 01/14/2024 to 03/12/25. Sand samples included here were collected between 01/14/24-06/28/24 as "part one" of a multitude of submissions and already published data (PRJNA1329298). DNA from sand samples were amplified targeting 250 base pairs of the V4 region of the bacterial 16S rRNA gene to determine spatiotemporal patterns in the bacterial communities.
