Iodine Calcium ratio in planktic foraminifera from sediment core-tops across the Pacific and Indian Oceans

DOI

I/Ca ratios from planktic foraminifera species inhabiting a range of depths within the water column. Specimens come from a selection of 70 core-tops located in the Pacific and Indian Oceans provided by Lamont-Doherty Core Repository, Ocean Discovery Program and from the GeoB Bremen-MARUM core repository. All data are modern/Holocene in age through associated benthic stable isotope data and radiocarbon ages. The I/Ca data generated from core-tops was undertaken to expand existing I/Ca-O2 calibration datasets by increasing spatial coverage.
