Access to Structural biology protein-to-structure pipelines for translational research and discovery. Coordinated user access to integrated

DOI

This proposal seeks to provide user access to advanced protein structure determination and both ligand and fragment screening workflows, leveraging the collaborative strengths of the EMBL High Throughput Crystallization (HTX) facility and the ESRF MX beamlines in the context of the EMBL-ESRF JSBIG. Crystallization and fragment screening services provided by the EMBL’s HTX lab, including to access to the CrystalDirect technology, will be supported financially by Horizon Europe infrastructure projects. During this proposal we will transition from iNEXT Discovery (coordinated by Annastasis Perrakis) to newer funding programs like ISIDORE, an Instruct-ERIC. To ensure equal access opportunities, applications for user access will undergo a review and prioritization process through the Instruct Aria system, managed by an External Review Panel consisting of leading international scientists. We will also develop further new access modalities based on the integration of CrystalDirect at MASSIF1
