Basic measurements of radiation at station Granite Island (2024-01)

DOI

There was an ice storm at Granite Island on the 12th day of this month therefor the tracker was turned off to prevent damage. The instrumentation was encased in ice beginning on the 12th through the 24th day of the month. All radiometeric data was lost during that period. An attempt to restart the tracker was made on the 24th, the tracker went the wrong way and then stopped. It has not been possible to restart the tracker. Starting with the 25th day of the month the only radiometeric measurements available are global shortwave and downwelling longwave.
