Soil physical and hydraulic attributes from 15 sample points of a vineyard in the Santa Catarina Plateau, Brazil

DOI

This dataset presents soil physical and hydraulic attributes collected from a vineyard in the Santa Catarina Plateau, Brazil, with the aim of evaluating the influence of slope position on soil properties. Soil samples were collected from five homogeneous topographic zones at three depths (0.0 - 0.10 m, 0.10 - 0.20 m, and 0.20 - 0.30 m). Laboratory analyses included aggregate stability, grain size, bulk density, porosity, and water retention characteristics. The data also include geographic coordinates (in decimal degrees), elevation, and sampling time in UTC. The dataset aids in modeling and understanding the spatial variability of soil structure and water behavior in viticulture.
