This dataset contains the data used in the article « Nicolas, G., Kristensen, E., Dojat, M., Guérin-Dugué, A., Eye movement dynamics are a key factor for intra-saccadic motion perception, 17 November 2025, PREPRINT (Version 1) available at Research Square https://doi.org/10.21203/rs.3.rs-8116701/v1 ».
It replicates the seminal experiment by Castet and Masson (2000) to investigate intra-saccadic motion perception of a stimulus optimized to activate the magnocellular pathway.
The dataset includes synchronized EEG recordings (BrainAmp .vhr, .wmrk, .eeg-), eye movement data (EyeLink 1000, SR Research, .edf), behavioral data (.csv), 3D electrode positions (BrainVision CapTrak, .sfp) and stimulus description (.csv) from 29 participants who successfully completed the experiment.
One .zip file per participant is provided (~350 Mo).
Full experimental details are described in the associated preprint. These multimodal data (EEG, eye-tracking, behavior, electrode positions) enable replication, sources localization, meta-analyses, and advanced modeling of saccadic motion perception.

The EEG data provided are EEG data synchronized with eye-tracking data. Synchronization was performed using the GazeEEGSynchro software described in: Ionescu, G., Frey, A., Guyader, N., Kristensen, E., Andreev, A., Guérin-Dugué, A. Synchronization of acquisition devices in neuroimaging: An application using co-registration of eye movements and electroencephalography.
