Metal Distributions in TiCoSb and (Ti1-xVx)Co1-yFey(Sb1-zSnz) half-Heusler Thermoelectrics: unexpected n-type conduction.

DOI

TiCoSb based half-Heusler compositions are of interest as p-type elements in thermoelectric waste heat recovery. We have found unexpected n-type behaviour in the title materials. We request one day of beamtime on the Polaris instrument to investigate the metal distributions over the available crystallographic sites. This information is needed to explain the observed n-type conduction.
