Dataset for the E-bike Demonstration Case
We create an electric bicycle (e-bike) architecture in a linear fashion using RFLP (Requirement - Functional - Logic - Physical) as an approach. It is essential to note that RFLP represents only one of many potential approaches for MBSE. We know that the RFLP process covers many different aspects and includes various application tools. Our example, therefore, only shows an overview and is created with Enterprise Architect and Solidworks. In the process, we use SysML, CAD volume modelling (tools), and the Finite Element Method (FEM).
The dataset is created in the context of the paper Toward Demystifying the Missing Links in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) by Azad Khandoker, Sabine Sint, Guido Gessl and Klaus Zeman, currently under publication in the Journal Systems.
