Individual fuzzy-cognitive mapping surveys with smallholder farmers in Madre de Dios, Peru

DOI

This dataset contains social-ecological information about smallholder farming in the Peruvian Amazon. Specifically, 58 farmers were surveyed in Madre de Dios, Peru, about their farm size, primary secondary and third economic activities, managed crops, animals, interactions with institutions, and future intentions related to land use. During part of the interview, the researcher was hand-drawing a Fuzzy-cognitive map to represent farmers' social-ecological perception of their farming reality.
