Testeo Chagas Casanillo

DOI

Chagas disease (CD) is a major health concern in Paraguay, particularly in the resource-constrained Chaco region. Rapid diagnostic tests (RDTs) have emerged as valuable alternatives to improve diagnostic procedures. This study assesses the efficacy of diagnostic algorithms including RDTs, CD prevalence, and associated risk factors in an indigenous community of the Paraguayan Chaco, aiming to enhance early detection and treatment strategies in the country.
