Distribution model data of demersal fish and crustaceans in the southern North Sea from 2004 to 2012

DOI

This dataset contains the spatial distribution of 74 demersal fish species and 4 commcerially relevant crustacean species in the southern North Sea. The distributions are expressed as probablities of occurrence (ranging from 0 to 1), which was derived from species distribution models using data from scientific fisheries surveys from 2004 unti 2012 and several environmental predictors (depth, temperature, and human activities (fishing effort of beam and ottor board trawlers)). The species distribution models are based on Bayesian Addtive Regression Trees (BART) and were implemented using the embarcadero-package by Colin Carlson (2020).
