Discourse Analysis on Green Hydrogen for Namibia and Germany

DOI

This research data documents a document analysis of over 200+ media and parliament releases concerned with green hydrogen, Namibian-German relations, and genocide reparations/acknowledgement. It is part of an ongoing collaboration between the Namibia University of Science and Technology, the University of Namibia, and the University of Stuttgart. The dataset provides detailed insights into how and what has been taken into account in order to conduct a discourse analysis on the following key question: are patterns of neo-extractivism visible in the ongoing discourse on green hydrogen between Namibia and Germany? Document identifiers, source details, summaries and classifications are provided.

The research is related to sustainability education at the University of Stuttgart and the sdg-campus.de challenge "Namibia and Germany: The Case of Green Hydrogen in the Context of Sustainability Challenges".
