To assess soil quality and regeneration potential across the Greater Mediterranean Basin for identifying areas suitable for the cultivation of climate-resilient orphan legumes and other sustainable crops.

Southern Europe, North Africa, and the Levant (30–45°N, –10–30°E)
Spatial Resolution:
30 m (Landsat 8/9) and aggregated 250 m grid
Temporal Coverage:
2013–2023 (NDVI and aridity indicators); static datasets for topography, human modification, and soil properties.
