Transcriptome of blood cell populations in Botryllus schlosseri

Botryllus schlosseri, a colonial marine chordate is a model organism that undergoes a natural transplantation reaction, which allows for genetically compatible animals to form parabionts. This natural transplantation involves immune recognition and because the vasculature is shared after fusion, stem cells are shared between the animals and compete.

This is an RNA-seq dataset of FACS sorted cell populations (based on morphological, antibody and other markers) and some additional dissected or whole animal based samples for tissue enrichment studies.
