Structural investigation of Volberthite at high pressure

Within this proposal we investigate structural changes of the spin-1/2 Heisenberg antiferromagnet Volborthite upon application of hydrostatic pressure. Using single crystal x-ray diffraction we study the evolution of bond angles and interatomic distances responsible for magnetic exchange interaction.
