Composition of bottom sediments, rocks, and Fe-Mn nodules and crusts from the North Tropical Atlantic

Nuclei of Fe-Mn nodules and bottom sediments along a profile: Guiana Basin - Mid-Atlantic Ridge - Canary Basin have been studied by different methods. Tectoedafogenic and bioedafogenic materials have been revealed. Multiple tectonic activity of the Kane transform fault during Pleistocene has been evidenced. Hydrothermally altered sedimentary rocks have been described in the Guiana Basin.
