Full edition for scientific use. The dataset was collected as part of the Sparkling Science project "Zirkus des Wissens" an interdisciplinary educational initiative funded by the Austrian Agency for Education and Internationalization (OeAD). The project aimed to explore the integration of arts into STEM education (STEAM) to enhance learning motivation, self-efficacy, and social dynamics among students. Data was gathered over three school years (2022/23 to 2024/25) through quantitative methods (surveys). The dataset includes responses from students across eight schools in Linz and its surroundings, as well as insights from teachers who participated in the project. The scope of the dataset encompasses variables such as students' motivational characteristics (e.g., self-efficacy, interest in STEM and arts), social relationships, and the perceived impact of arts-based teaching methods. The dataset provides a comprehensive foundation for analyzing the effects of interdisciplinary teaching strategies on educational outcomes and offers valuable insights for the development of innovative learning methods.
