The principal aim of this study was to test the hypothesis that the ideological mapping of Labour politicians is best drawn on the basis of two dimensions: state/market and national sovereignty/interdependence. The research was intended to contribute to knowledge and understanding of the ideological configuration of the Labour Party, particularly over European integration.
