The measurements aim to address several key objectives such as the XANES of the Ni and Fe in a perovskite atomic arrangement and get info on the Ni local environment in these differed doped oxides. HERFD measurements are envisaged which allow a detection system with better energy resolution—such as a crystal analyzer spectrometer. HERFD involves measuring the X-ray absorption spectrum by monitoring the intensity of a fluorescence line corresponding to a specific excited-state decay process, using high energy resolution. This is generally achieved through the use of a crystal analyzer that selects a narrow energy band from the sample’s emission line. In our study, we monitored the Ni Kα fluorescence lines. Accordingly, the crystal analyzers used were Si (6 2 0) . Static at LN temperature are planned.
