Clinical computed tomography scans of 28 human femoral heads. They were explanted during total hip arthroplasty.

Further dataset-specific metadata (for example, the spatial resolution of the individual datasets with different reconstruction kernels) can be looked up in the *.DICOM files. For this purpose, the 3D Slicer software can be used.
