Correlates of variability in endurance shuttle walk test time in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

DOI

Anonymized data of 245 patients with COPD, which was collected as part of standard care during baseline assessment of a comprehensive pulmonary rehabilitation program in Dekkerswald - Radboudumc (Nijmegen, The Netherlands) during september 2016 and december 2019.Inclusion criteria were a primary diagnosis of COPD according to the Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease criteria and complete data availability regarding ISWT speed and ESWT speed and time. The dataset contains the following variables:Age, gender, length, weight, BMI, Fat free mass index (BIA), Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale, CIS fatigue, mMRC score, COPD Assessment Test, pulmonary function (spirometry, static lung volumes and diffusion capacity), physical capacity (Cardiopulmonary exercise test; CPET), isometric muscle strength (Biodex), exercise tolerance (Constant work rate cycle test), Incremental shuttle walk test, endurance shuttle walk test, Charlson Comorbidity Index, use of betablockers during CPET.More information regarding the variables can be find in the readmefirst file and the codebook file.
