AMS radiocarbon dates, age model, benthic foraminifera, and ostracoda census from sediment core SHN-T394, Argentine continental shelf

DOI

The sedimentary records extracted from the Argentine continental shelf typically document changes occurring during the Holocene and, rarely, during the late deglacial period. In contrast, this database innovatively presents records showing much of the postglacial transgression. Here, we present AMS radiocarbon dates, the age model, and fossil records of benthic foraminifera and ostracoda obtained from core SHN-T394 (40°09.87'S - 57°14.96'W). Samples underwent analysis at Beta Analytics and DirectAMS laboratories (USA), including four biogenic carbonate samples and one sample of plant remains.
