Rock Mechanics Parameters of Boreholes in the Vicinity of the Enguri High Arch Dam in Georgia

DOI

This study presents parts of the research conducted within the DAMAST and DAMAST-Transfer projects, specifically focusing on rock mechanics tests at the KIT-Spartak and KIT-2 boreholes. Most analyses, including uniaxial compression tests to determine the rock density, unconfined compressive strength (UCS) and Young's modulus, were conducted by the Institute of Soil Mechanics and Rock Mechanics laboratory at KIT. More information on the DAMAST and DAMAST-Transfer project on https://www.damast-caucasus.de/. A project overview is also given in Niederhuber et al. (2024).
