The study aims to recognize spatial and temporal differentiation of the ground temperature on high-mountain slopes in period from autumn to spring. The slopes are in cold-climate (periglacial) zone. Thermistors and data loggers were used in the studies. The temperature was measured at two sites located at vertical distance about 100 metres. The ground was frozen since December to April/May. During period about 10 days long in spring there ground temperature form conditions favourable for solifluction.
Data were collected during field research funded by the Institute of Geography and Spatial Organisation of the Polish Academy of Sciences
