Effect of doping and disorder on the skyrmion phase dynamics in Zn-doped Cu2OSeO3.

DOI

Skyrmions are topologically protected, nano-sized objects which have been shown to exist in the spin textures of a range of magnetic materials. As we have recently demonstrated in our work on these systems muSR is a promising method for exploring skyrmion lattices (SLs) and related physics. Here we propose to extend our investigations into the effect of doping and disorder on the local magnetism and the slow dynamics of skyrmion-hosting systems, specifically in Zn-doped Cu2OSeO3.
