Slides for delivering teachingTax, Society, and PeopleCitizenship Education (Age 11-16, Key Stage 3 and 4)This is a deck of slides to go with the Educational Booklet 'Tax, Society, and People' https://doi.org/10.5522/04/32033103The aim of this material is to provide simple and everyday illustrations and exercises to make learners more aware of the impact and importance of tax in society in the United Kingdom and globally – today, in the past, and for the future. The material consists of six lessons which build on each other, providing a comprehensive resource for teaching on tax. However, each lesson works as an independent module and schools can select to deliver just one, or several, in any order. The individual exercises within each lesson can also serve as stand-alone activities. The themes of the lessons link up to a range of curriculum topics.Consultant: Naomi Kennedy (Young Citizens)Contributors: Karen Boll, Matti Eräsaari, Mr L Farrance, Anna-Riikka Kauppinen, Johanna Mugler, Lynne Oats, Lottie O'Brien, Robin Smith, Jerson Thomas, Soumhya Venkatesan, Gunnel Welford, Alice Wilson, and Maximilien ZahndIllustrations: Julia F.
