Transcriptomic insights into mechanisms of bleaching and recovery in the coral Pavona decussata

In recent years, with the increasing seawater temperatures caused by global climate change, coral bleaching is considered as a major threat to coral reefs. Coral bleaching events have been reported not only from a tropical area but also subtropical areas including Hong Kong. Here, we collected the healthy, normal, bleached and recovered coral samples of Pavona decussata from Hong Kong and reported their transcriptome.
