Oxygen and carbon isotopic composition (δ18O and δ13C) of Neogloboquadrina pachyderma sinistral from eastern Weddell Sea off Dronning Maud Land. The foraminiferal specimens were selected from gravity core PS128_2-3, which was recovered from Bungenstock Plateau (eastern Weddell Sea off Dronning Maud Land 69.4107°S, 5.5890°W ) from 1868 m water depth during R/V POLASTERN Cruise PS128 in 2022 (Tiedemann and Müller, 2022). Sampling and analytical studies were carried out from ~88 to 434.5 cm core depth at ~1 cm spatial resolution. The records cover the last ~75 kyrs. The stable carbon (δ13C; ‰ VPDB) and oxygen isotope (δ18O, ‰ VPDB) analyses were performed on a Thermo Scientific MAT 253 mass spectrometer with an automated Kiel IV Carbonate Preparation Device. The δ18O data provide stratigraphical information and were used to calculate the ice volume-corrected δ18O of seawater (δ18Osw-ivc; ‰ VSMOW).
