The Effects of (-)-epigallocatechin-3-gallate on Penaeus vannamei

As strong and effective antioxidants, tea polyphenols (TPs) have been widely used in aquaculture. However, (-)-epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), the main active component of TPs, has been less well studied in aquatic animals, especially in Penaeus vannamei. Therefore, the effects of EGCG in P. vannamei were explored with the help of transcriptomics.
