The data was collected as part of H2020 ADMIGOV project, subproject (WP5) that focused on exploring the migrants’ experiences on the way and documented the main protection risks faced by Asian and African migrants and refugees during their journeys along the Central Mediterranean Route (CMR), the Eastern Mediterranean Route (EMR), and the Western Balkan Route (WBR). The data was collected through face-to-face and remote (phone) survey interviews. In total, 714 survey questionnaires were collected in Italy (among refugees and migrants originating from across West Africa, Sudan and Bangladesh) and 1,590 in Greece (among refugees and migrants originating from Afghanistan, Syria, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Pakistan). Data on the EMR and WBR includes an additional 129 surveys of Pakistanis conducted in Italy.
